Forrest Gump film comments

Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower I.Q. only 75, had achieved lots incredible success in his life, honor, fortune, true love. The most thing that it striking me is that his loyalty, keep his promise and persistence in his love. His simple and purity helped him winning the friendship, the love. He never thought about too much when he made up his mind to do one thing. He just did it and tried his best to do the things. On the contrary, people in our times they are too smart and always have so many choices, but few people win the fame and fortune, less than the happiness and true love.

His simple and sincere also affected a few persons around him, Lieutenant Dan is the one, who regard the honor as importance than his life, always thought he should died like his forefather in the Vietnam War, had eventually translate life in another way, people who without the legs can also walk out of the common life with confidence. Jenney is the other one, who changed her life with Forrest Gump’s assistance to find another way to restart her life. She was looking for love and ideal all the time, but she eventually found the true love was around her all the time which Forrest had gave it to her with his life.

Forrest Gump never complaint of the life gave to him, he always sets up a goal with hope. About this point, at the beginning of the movie, Forrest had repeated his mother told him, “Life was like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get”. He entered the army, played the Ping-pong, catching shrimps, running around the America four times, loving Jenney with his life… all the things he did with hopeful and did this tried his best. It goes without saying that he did it success.

Forrest was a man who had kept his words all the time. This can we see from he made his promise with Bubba, even when Bubba was died in the Vietnam War. He was keeping his words, after finished the services, bought one shrimp boat and earned fortunate from it, and gave half to Bubba’s family. He was always keeping his words in practice without saying any bubble words. He never quit once he made up his mind to do something until he made a great success. However, modern people are easy to quit when they made a decision to do the thing. His personality is charming which deserve every one to learn.

Forrest was serious in everything and very brave. In Vietnam War, he thought less of his own security and regardless of the bullets, saving every life of his comrade in arms in his way to look for Bubba. His brave can also find in protecting Jenney. When somebody bullied Jenney, he always beat them without fear. His honesty and brave gives me impression in the movie.

Love is simple. Forrest is also a man who know true love is and how to love. He loves Jenny, persistence in his love and won his love in the end. He loved Jenny with his heart and soul. No matter Jenny went to anywhere and what happened, he just waited, never and ever took his eye off her.
A good movie always puts into history backgrounds. Forrest Gump is not an exception. The movie included many history events which help us to understand the movie more emotionally. We get known about the America history events from this movie. Racial Discrimination in the Southern States of America，Vietnam War, Anti-Vietnam War Movement，Ping-Pong Diplomacy，Landing on the Moon in 1969，The Watergate Scandal，Forrest went through from 35th President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1961-1963) to 39th American President James Earl Carter, all of these events get us more familiar with America history.

In one word, it’s a wonderful movie. You will learn a lot from Forrest Gump.
